What to Expect
Upon arrival for your first appointment at Monroeville Pet Hospital, you'll be greeted warmly by our front desk staff before one of our knowledgeable veterinary technicians guides you and your pet to an exam room. The technician will begin by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition, and the specific reasons for your visit. This discussion provides us with valuable information that assists us in offering the most effective care for your pet.
Then, one of our dedicated veterinarians will thoroughly examine your pet, asking further questions to ensure a clear understanding of your pet's needs. If necessary, they may recommend diagnostic tests, most of which can be carried out within our practice for your convenience.
Following the tests, the veterinarian will discuss their findings and potential diagnoses and recommend a suitable treatment plan. This is an ideal time for you to ask any questions, as we want to ensure you're completely comfortable and confident in the information and care we're providing. To conclude your visit, our veterinary technician will offer additional pet care advice and answer any remaining questions. Our front desk staff will process your payment and schedule any necessary follow-up appointments.
Please bear in mind that while we strive to see all our clients and patients promptly, unexpected emergencies may occasionally cause delays. We are committed to minimizing these as much as possible for your convenience. For your pet's safety and your peace of mind, please note that we do not accept returns on prescription medications.
